You can imagine Obedience and Rebellion as two figures born from the same anatomical root, but developed to define two opposite projections of the human soul. The chain, which appears on both, symbolizes the rules imposed by the world and how the two creatures deal with them.
The development of the two concepts initially followed a common base and then differentiated: Rebellion has broken its chains, now it is corrupt and torn in appearance. The price of freedom lies in the wings that have lost their lightness and are supported by mechanical elements.
Keeping the same sculpture, the 3d concepts have been completed through the paint overlay to have different versions.
